Their website is down. Your timing is perfect.

Lapsed Leads finds UK businesses that are still actively trading but whose website has gone offline. We tell you when it died, whether the domain is available to buy, and hand you a ready to send pitch for each one.

Find dead website leads

UK businesses only, phone and WhatsApp ready, no monthly contract to start.

Cold calling a business that has no website is a pitch. Cold calling a business whose website just went offline is a rescue. One asks them to imagine the value. The other points at something broken that is costing them customers right now.

Three steps from search to pitch

Step 1

Search by industry and location

Enter any trade or service category and any UK town or city. We scan Google Maps for every business in that category with a listed website URL.

Step 2

We find the dead ones

Every URL gets checked live. Dead sites get a WHOIS lookup to see when the domain lapsed and whether it is still registered or available to buy. The Wayback Machine tells us when the site last had real content. You get the full death timeline.

Step 3

You get a dossier, not a list

Business name, address, phone number, Google rating and review count. How long the site has been offline. Domain status. A call opener written for the dead website conversation. A WhatsApp message. A shareable prospect report. Everything in one place.

The easiest cold call you will ever make

When a business has no website, you are asking them to spend money on something they have never had. That is a longer conversation.

When a business has a dead website, they already know websites matter. They already paid for one. Something went wrong and they have not fixed it yet. Every day it stays down, potential customers are clicking the link on their Google listing and hitting an error page.

You are not selling them a service. You are solving a problem they already know they have.

Common questions

How is this different from searching Google Maps myself?

You can find businesses without websites on Google Maps in about 20 minutes. Finding businesses with dead websites takes much longer because the site appears to exist until you click it. Doing that across an entire category and location, checking every URL, running domain lookups and Wayback searches, would take hours. We do it in minutes.

What does domain available mean?

Some dead sites have simply let their domain expire. The domain is no longer registered to anyone and can be purchased for the standard registration fee, usually £10 to £15 for a .co.uk. That is meaningful additional leverage when you make your pitch.

Are these businesses definitely still trading?

Every lead has an active Google Maps listing with recent reviews. We do not include businesses with no review activity in the last 12 months. The website is dead. The business is not.

What industries and locations do you cover?

Any industry you can search for on Google Maps, across any UK town or city.

What if I pitch a lead and they are not interested?

That happens. It is cold outreach. The dead website is the strongest possible entry point but it is not a guarantee. The pay per lead tier lets you test the quality before committing to a subscription.
